Day 1-3

Victoria Falls

-

Zambezi NP

Touch down in Victoria Falls and a short transfer will have you right in the middle of the buzz of this busy town.  Have a quick freshen up before we take you on a tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Natural wonders of the world.  Before the sun starts to set you will be back at your lodge in this buzzing city. The following morning, we will take you into the Zambezi National Park where you will be staying for 2 nights at a stunning lodge situated right on the banks of the Zambezi River. Here you will be able to combine river cruises and game drives and even a walking safari, or if you choose just to relax in luxury taking in the sounds of the African bush.  Don’t worry if you don’t get to go on all the activities available as you will be coming back here for your last 2 nights.

Day 4-6

Hwange NP

After an early breakfast we will meet you at the lodge for a one-and-a-half-hour drive to take you to Hwange National Park, where you will meet your onward transfer to your camp. This is where you will make your home for 3 nights and we know you will be taken care of.  The sheer size of Hwange NP means that its scenery, vegetation and game vary hugely.

With a variety of antelope, giraffe, buffalo, lion, leopard and cheetah not to mention the large elephant herds for which Hwange is also famous for, we are sure you will not be disappointed on your safari in Hwange.

Day 7-14

After your safari in Hwange it is time to head back to Victoria Falls. Here you will have your final two nights on Zimbabwean soil, as a completely different experience is in store for you tomorrow.

In between walkings and experiences from the canoe on the Zambezi River, there will of course be plenty of game drives to enjoy. With it's diversity of activities, Mana Pools is truly a safari-lovers Mekka! Gonarezhou means “Place of the Elephants” The Frankfurt Geological Society (FCZ), FCZ has played a huge part in putting Gonarezhou on the map again, and thanks to their involvement, black rhino are soon to be reintroduced to this area. The scenery is extremely varied ranging from broad sandy riverbeds; extensive systems of seasonally water-filled pans; rocky ridges; towering baobab trees, and of course the famous Chilojo Cliffs; the magnificent red sandstone cliffs that have been formed through millennia of erosion and overlook the scenic Runde River .This "last frontier" of the safari universe has, due to its remoteness, the least amount of visitors of all the national parks in Zimbabwe.

Hwange.jpg

Day 6-11

hwange NP

Your next destination is Matobo National Park. This park is famed for its landscape of balancing granite rocks- known locally as “kopjes”. For a touch of history Bushmen paintings can also be found in the caves of these kopjes. When you touch down in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia we will be there to meet you at the airport and head north on a 4-hour drive, where the magical Etosha National Park is waiting for you. Whichever you choose it is best to adjust to the rhythm of the animals: rising early at dawn to watch them feed in the cool morning; then relax during the midday heat; and venturing out on safari again in the late afternoon.  Some of the pans are floodlit at night offering a completely different game viewing experience. During the dry season between July and November, waterholes around the pan attracts a huge crowd of animals!
